Nabil Aniss (b. Meknès, Morocco - 1990) is a Moroccan artist working with moving images, and living between Brussels and Meknès. Through moving images, Nabil Aniss explores the complex relationship between political liberation and the transcendental handling of marginalised bodies in the mystical brotherhoods* in Morocco, particularly in his home town of Meknès, such as Gnawa, Hmadcha and Issawa.
